Lafayette Life Chain

Every Fall, the faithful of St. Alexis Orthodox Church participates in the Lafayette Life Chain Event.

Life chain is a peaceful, prayerful public witness of pro-life Americans standing for one hour, interceding in prayer for our nation and for and end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception. Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, various Protestant denominations and others meet in unity during this time.
